Jack Maguire is Founder and Chairman of Maguire Associates. As an academic trained in the scientific method, he introduced market research to the field of admissions in the early 1970’s when he became Dean of Admissions at Boston College, creating (and naming) the first “enrollment management” model for the recruitment and retention of students. Since his founding of Maguire Associates in 1983, Jack has served hundreds of clients, authored numerous papers, and has been featured in Money magazine, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and NPR’s “Talk of the Nation and “Morning Edition.”

He began his 35-year consulting career with The Boston Consulting Group, where he was responsible for strategy assignments on behalf of a broad array of corporate and institutional clients. He has written extensively on strategic planning and “dashboards” for governing boards and senior management teams.
